Shot in 2018, this journey along the Moroccan coast in search of badass women surfing the many waves Morocco had to offer was a little bit of a cursed shooting.

 

Every step of the way we’d get a fantastic chance to have a chat with the inspiring women featured in the film but it was like the waves were dodging us always somewhere else or always too massive.

 

We decided to put the project on standby to wait for a good occasion to get some surf footage.

 

Fast forward 5 years later stars still have not aligned but instead of letting these conversations unheard on a hard drive we decided to make it a picture of that time.

 

Since then a lot has changed. So much actually that it is hard to believe it was only five years ago.

 

This project instead of being made irrelevant by time might serve to show that things can evolve at an incredibly fast pace and keep on inspiring change.

 

Thanks in part to these girls who are not afraid to do what they want to do and be proud of it, and to those leading others on a path of fun and confidence, no matter what someone else might think.
